No “Turkeys” Here! AEL Volunteers At Local Food Bank

AEL is proud to support several local community organizations. This week, we visited Eden Food Bank in Mississauga and helped them to make over 250 portions of cooked food for clients to take home. This ensures that larger donations (like 12 turkeys) reach many families and are already prepared for them as some clients don't have access to an oven.

AEL staff cut apart fresh turkeys, seasoned them, prepared a honey-garlic glaze, prepared a side dish of cauliflour fritters, and packed it into individual and family size portions.

We're glad to know that these meals will help ease the burden of hunger in our community. Thanks, Eden Food Bank, for letting us come and do this! Already looking forward to our next visit!
